Multiple companies, complex infrastructure or an internal IT team may suit reserved engineering capacity rather than a simple per-person package. Group reporting does not automatically combine each company’s agreement or billing responsibility.
Choose based on your support pattern and operational needs. A low-use business may spend less on ad hoc work; a managed agreement adds planned maintenance and an agreed service commitment.

Variable Azure consumption is shown separately from cloud management. Migrations, new deployments and other excluded changes need their own approved scope.
Your current agreement remains applicable. Any proposed change needs a company-specific comparison and the appropriate review and notice process. This guide does not change your agreed rates or your account.

Microsoft licensing explained
A monthly invoice does not always mean a month-to-month subscription. Check the commitment, payment frequency and total cost together before choosing an option.
A one-month commitment, where offered. This shorter commitment is generally priced higher than the equivalent annual option. Renewal and cancellation terms still apply.
A 12-month commitment paid in monthly instalments. Paying monthly does not remove the annual commitment, and the price may differ from paying upfront.
A 12-month commitment paid for the year in advance. Compare the total annual cost and your expected licence needs, as reductions during the term are restricted.
Standard Microsoft CSP New Commerce Experience (NCE) terms normally allow cancellation within seven calendar days (168 hours) of purchase or completed renewal, subject to applicable law. After that window, the remaining committed term generally remains payable. Seat reductions have their own timing rules.
A COMPUREP notice period, such as 30 days if agreed in your contract, is separate from Microsoft’s cancellation window. It does not create a 30-day refund right or shorten an annual commitment. Confirm any change against your exact subscription before relying on a cancellation date.
Your quote and subscription schedule should identify the exact product, licence quantity, term start and end dates, and next renewal instruction. Your invoice should identify the service period being charged. These dates can differ from the invoice date and the monthly payment date.
At expiry, confirm whether the subscription will renew, cancel, or move to paid Extended Service Terms where eligible. Do not assume that an auto-renew setting alone confirms the outcome.
Compare like-for-like Microsoft editions, including whether Teams is included. A COMPUREP proposal should distinguish the licence charge from selected administration, security, backup and managed support, with the responsibilities and exclusions clearly stated.
